Our story began in Northport, Alabama, where Ervin Koon, a dedicated and fair-minded businessman, and his wife Polly, built a business during challenging times. Guided by a strong work ethic and a heart for the community, they believed that everyone deserved access to durable, quality products at honest, affordable prices. Their dedication quickly turned Ervin’s into a trusted name in work and western wear across the region.

A Family Legacy, Carried Forward

In 1999, Ervin and Polly passed the reins to Van and Sheila James, who have proudly upheld the original vision of the store while adding fresh energy and focus. Still family-owned and operated, Ervin’s continues to thrive by staying true to its roots — offering a carefully selected range of western boots, workwear, ladies’ boutique fashion, and accessories designed to fit your lifestyle.
