Stepping Into a New Season with Faith and Grace

As I enter this year, I’ve been thinking a lot about seasons, how life moves through them whether we’re ready or not. Some seasons are full of joy and celebration. Others are quieter, heavier, and stretch us in ways we never expected. But every season has purpose, even the ones we don’t fully understand yet.

This year, I’m choosing faith over fear. Trust over control. Gratitude, even when things feel uncertain.

The Bible reminds us of this promise:

“Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past.
See, I am doing a new thing!
Now it springs up; do you not perceive it?”
Isaiah 43:18–19

Lately, I’ve realized that faith doesn’t just shape what we believe. It shows up in the everyday choices we make, in the small, ordinary moments, even in the way we begin our day.

What we reach for to wear each morning often reflects how we feel, or sometimes how we’re hoping to feel. Some days we need softness and comfort. Other days we need structure, confidence, and something that reminds us who we are. In a way, getting dressed is a lot like stepping into life. We put on courage. We wrap ourselves in peace. We choose confidence, even when we’re still growing into it.

As we move into this new year, I hope you’ll give yourself grace. You don’t have to have everything figured out. You don’t have to rush the process. Growth doesn’t always happen loudly. Sometimes it happens quietly, one faithful step at a time.

Let this be the year you release what no longer serves you, old fears, past disappointments, and the pressure to be everything for everyone. You don’t have to carry last year’s weight into this one. From my heart to yours, I want you to know this: you are seen, you are valued, and you are capable of more than you realize.

My prayer for Christy’s has always been that it feels like more than a boutique. I want it to feel like encouragement. Like joy. Like a place where you feel welcomed just as you are. Thank you for walking this journey with me. Thank you for your support, your kindness, and your friendship. I can’t wait to see what this new season holds for all of us.

Here’s to new beginnings and stepping forward with faith.
